South Texas Wedding
May 19, 2014
Most weddings I grew up going to revolved around literally the community coming together to celebrate a marriage. Uncles, cousins and friends would wake up at 5am to begin cooking not to sell or make a profit but to simply help out and do what they could for the bride and groom and their families. Wether it was a VFW Hall, Community Center or a KC Hall there was sure to be a Grand March and certainly plenty of beer for all the Germans, Czech’s & Bohemians to drink!
From pristine restored tractors to the coolest stage i’ve ever seen it was a absolute honor to be a part of a day that reminded me of childhood weddings spent sliding around on dance floors and being part of not just a wedding but a community coming together.
Congrats Darren and Margie!
