2016 was an amazing year. I photographed weddings in Costa Rica, Alaska and all over Texas, proposals in Texas, Hawaii & Colorado and commercial jobs in San Francisco. I took over 70,000 images and photographed some amazing people and wouldn’t change anything about it. I photographed over 25 weddings this year and each and every one was special in its own way.

The things I learned in 2016 are: emotion is a huge element of a photograph and a image doesn’t have to be perfect to make an impact. If there isn’t emotion in a photograph or if an image doesn’t make you feel any type of emotion then it’s just taking up room on your hard drive. This year I plan on capturing more emotion, printing more photos, working on some personal photography projects and delivering albums/photos faster.
