We headed East recently for a baby portrait in Smithville, TX. I love the drive….seeing the majestic pine trees surrounding the Bastrop area. There is still fire damage to homes and all those amazing pines (a sad sight to see), but fortuntealy new growth is in full force!

Once we got to Smithville,TX, we met up with an amazing family and cutest little girl ever! We made a entire day out of it– fishing, photographing and wrapping with dinner in Smithville.

We had several conceptual ideas, with many wardrobe changes:  an old Scout International/old fishing pole, vintage swimming/bathing suit, bubbles and a rustic bucket and a TX style look and feel. Looooove shoots like this and can’t wait for her to turn one!
